I was trying to find the perfect post for celebrating Creative DSM - Digital & Social Marketing‘s win for Sample Urbandale, A Celebration of Business

And well, here’s what I have.

Urbandale is my home town. Where I attended school from kindergarten to senior year. Where I made friends, and had the opportunity for a great education. Where I once had the school record for cross country (lol!). Where my parents helped guide me through working hard and being thankful for what you have. Where I will always call “home.”

It’s also where my son is enrolled into preschool, after returning to Iowa from a decade on the coasts. Where my husband, Patrick Fagen, also grew up and graduated. Urbandale is a special place. Where I will always call “home.”

This came full circle tonight as the business i have been pouring myself into won emerging business of the year via the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. And well, I guess the point of this post is to say CHEERS to home town pride!
